Course Objective |
The aim of this course is to provide the students with the knowledge of pitch and beat sequences in Turkish Traditional Art Music in a historical context. Comparisons with current productions will be done and listening examples will be given to provide musicological value. |

Class participation, active involvement in class, problem solving skills, active participation in the applications and skills in evaluating the results are the main requirements for the course.
