Students taking this course are expected to: learn the place and importance of sports in media and know the concept of journalism.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To learn the importance of sports journalism to the mass of media.
2   To comprehend global and local exceptions of sports media.
3   To comprehend the codes of Turkish sports media ethics.
4   To comprehend why Turkish media is discussed as a part of problems in sports
5   To comprehend why football is the primary and secondary and tertiary sport in Turkey
