Course Objective

To learn properties of mining air and ventilation measurements, to watch extreme events like fire, explosion, gas outburst etc. and inform struggle techniques applied against them, to calculate quantity of air distribution and to learn the solutions of ventilation system problems.

1   1. Knowledgeable about flammable gas underground coal mines.
2   2. Knowledgeable about explosive gas underground coal mines.
3   3. Knowledgeable about ventilators used in underground mines.
4   4. To know the tools which are used for underground ventilation measure works.
5   5. To know taking precautions for ensure safety of underground mine.

7 Mid-term exam
8 Underground mine fires and fire fighting
9 Natural ventilation
10 Mechanical ventilation
11 Secondary ventilation
12 Determining the amount of air requiring
13 Regulation of air flow
14 Ventilation system analysis

This lecture is going to make with theoretical courses in class, laboratory works and field trips. Instructor is going to teach the lessons with slide shows, create a discussion area with question and answer method with students and make laboratory works
