Course Objective

To teach students Islamic concepts that may be necessary for spiritual counseling and to show their moral, cultural and psychological effects. To show the equivalents of these concepts in the Qur'an and reveal their relationship with modern ethical theories.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1-) Will comprehend the moral approach of the Qur'an.
2   2-) Will comprend the moral emphasis of the Qur'an.
3   3-) In the light of ethical theories, student will reevaluate the moral and ethical provisions in the Qur'an.
4   4-) Will be able to see the relationship between spiritual discourses and suggestions in daily with the Qur'an.
5   5-) Will be able to see the foundations of Islamic Spirituality in the Qur'an.
