Course Objective

Provide information about historical and technological developments of cameras and video cameras which have been radically evolved in our modern age, use them under present condition and conducted research and studies and technical skills for digital imaging, shot expremental films in the field of stage designing, the most important part of visuality in performing art within the contex of light, shade and colour compare archive-purpose visuals with knowledge on visual and written sourches and pave the way for discussion of new concept to create stage editing and atmosphere in sense.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Lecture
Imaging in stage arts is to be convayed to students via lecturing and sharing nation and foreign sourches directly or indirectly related to issues of sience and artistic research involving the course content as well as text material. One by one camera shooting and theoretical data base of photograph and video shootings are to be performed.Feed back of information throught assignment and exam is to be performed and assessed accordingly.

Grading test, classroom activities, attendance, assignments and researchs is to be made and deliveried on due time according to predetermined day and knowledge student have learned is to be efficiently assessed.

Assessment Criteria

Attendance.
Delivery of assignment in due time.
Participation in lecture.
Achievement in exam.

Course Policies and Rules

70% participation in lecture is compulsory.
All type of plagiarism are to be penalised by disciplinary board.
Not having participated in course and late delivery of projects and assignments will not be justied as excuses.
Late delivery of project will be considered to be reduction of point per every day.
