Course Objective

To teach the hard and soft tissue diseases that occur in the oral cavity, which the student encounters in the clinic. The evaluation, imaging and treatment planning of caries, periodontal disease, tooth crowding, tooth deficiency and complaints caused by these in the oral cavity.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Should have a solid knowledge and systematic understanding of oral pathological conditions, necessary for diagnosis with clinical and radiographic methods
2   Should have comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the pre-diagnosis of oral pathological conditions
3   Have a solid knowledge and understanding of the role of other dentists in performing dental treatments.
4   Should have a high proficiency in the differential diagnosis of common major oral pathological lesions.
5   Should have comprehensive knowledge and systematic understanding of treatment planning for all oral pathological conditions.

3 Have a solid knowledge and understanding of the role of other dentists in performing dental treatments
4 Should have a high level of competence in the differential diagnosis of frequently seen important oral pathological lesions.
5 Should have comprehensive knowledge and systematic understanding of treatment planning for all oral pathological conditions.
