Course Objective

Clinical applications of theoretical orthodontic education given in 3rd and 4th grades. Model analysis, cephalometric analysis, clinical application of removable and functional appliances.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Have the ability to determine the need for orthodontic treatment.
2   Have knowledge about orthodontic treatment techniques.
3   Have knowledge about cephalometric analysis.
4   Plans the removable appliances used in placeholder, single tooth movement or in the correction of crossbite.
5   Have the ability to attach and adapt the removable appliances used in placeholder, single tooth movement or crossbite correction to the patient.
