Course Objective

To determine and apply behavior management,dental examination of the child patient,preventive applications,minor restorative procedures in primary and permanent teeth,oral hygiene motivation for the child and parents.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Analyse the behaviour of the child patient and implement appropriate management technique.
2   Perform extraoral and intraoral examination.
3   Compose a treatment plan required by the patient.
4   Apply fissure sealant, topical fluoride, preventive resin restorationunder supervision.
5   Perform minor restorations under supervision.
6   Perform oral hygiene motivation to the child and the parent(s).
