Course Objective

To teach the use of these diagnostic tools in determining the diagnostic tools and orthodontic treatment needs, to teach the principles of preventive, preventive and corrective orthodontic treatment, to teach wire bending and appliance designs.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Diagnoses the patient's skeletal and dentoalveolar anomaly with cephalometric film drawings.
2   Determines the stage of growth and development of the patient with hand-wrist films.
3   Designs removable appliances that can be used in the treatment of simple orthodontic problems.
4   Makes orthodontic crochet inflectionand laboratory operations of removable orthodontic appliances.
