Course Objective

To have information about advanced surgical techniques and applications used in dental implant operations.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Lists the indications and contraindications of dental implants.
2   Have knowledge about advanced surgical applications that need to be done in bone tissue for dental implant placement.
3   List the complications of these surgical applications.
4   Recognizes the surgical procedures to be performed on soft tissue around the implant.
5   Have knowledge about alveolar ridge augmentation methods.
