Course Objective

Giving basic information about prostheses to be applied to patients with defected maxillofacial structure, teaching construction methods and planning.

1   Classifies maxillofacial defects.
2   Classifies the different types of maxillofacial prostheses.
3   Defines the materials used in maxillofacial prosthesis.
4   Defines the principles of retention and stability in maxillofacial prostheses.
5   Knows the basic steps about the construction of maxillofacial prostheses.
