Course Objective

The student's recognition of the relevant basic literature on anonymous photographs, family photographs, photography projects on various topics, photo archives, city archives; evaluate in terms of cultural memory due to case studies; besides, they are aimed to adapt their memory studies to their own photography projects.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to define the concepts of individual, social, cultural memory, psychogeography,
2   Define the concept of cultural memory;
3   Ability to interpret the history of photography through the concept of cultural memory;
4   To be able to produce works on photography, culture and memory;
5   To evaluate the relationship between cultural geography and memory through photographs;
