Course Objective

The aim of this course, learning about principles of cancer epidemiology ,methods of cancer registration systems, the molecular epidemiology of cancer, cancer-related research planning and data analysis, etiology of cancer and carcinogenesis.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to know the cancer epidemiology
2   Be able to know cancer statistics databases.
3   Be able to know epidemiological methods in the literature.
4   Be able to know cancer surveillance and cancer registration system in Turkey.
5   Be able to statistically evaluate the literature studies and criticizes them
