Course Objective

This course will examine the definition of learning difficulties in early term, assessment of learning difficulties, methods used in assessment, early identification, early literacy definition, subfields, predictability and predictability in terms of academic achievement, relevant research and intervention programs and teaching strategies to improve early literacy.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Describe the language, cognitive, early literacy and social characteristics of children with early learning disabilities
2   They define the tools used in the evaluation and evaluation of these skills.
3   Describe early literacy and subfields.
4   Defines the importance and predictability of early literacy in terms of academic achievement.
5   Develops and implements teaching strategies and materials for the development of early literacy.
6   Defines intervention programs to improve early literacy
7   Defines instructional strategies for the development of early literacy.
