: After completing this course, students will be able to develop communication and social skills of children with autism spectrum disorder.

1   Explain the characteristics and individual differences of individuals with intellectual disability.
2   Explains individual differences and universal design.
3   Explains universal design and technology supported teaching in teaching.
4   Concepts related to technology; explains the principles of multimedia, binary coding, cognitive load and cognitive load.
5   Discusses the multimedia design process and visual components.
6   Definition of assistive technologies; discuss its properties and classification.
7   Discuss the benefits and limitations of assistive technology.
