Course Objective

Early childhood special education (ECSE) to work in the field of students, information about the evaluation and development program for children with special needs located in the 0-3 age group and acquire skills

Course Contents

1 The general principles of the evaluation process in eçöe: philosophy, rationale, ethics
2 Evaluation of children with special needs: assessed areas for development, communication techniques with children, environment assessment, assessment materials, measuring tools
3 Evaluation of the family: parents, siblings and other relatives approach, ability to communicate with family members, evaluation areas, evaluation techniques, the use of audio and video recording devices, measuring tools
4 Evaluation environment: home visits, use of audio and video recorders, assessments of the environment, measuring tools
5 Evaluation of parent-child interaction
6 Exchanging information with other professionals working with children and families, cooperation
7 The interpretation of the findings of the assessment and program development: participants identified priorities
