Course Objective |
This is a course in which students will work independently, yet under the supervision of instructors, taking responsibility from selecting the texts they will translate to submitting their translations on time, and meeting the instructors for feedback. Students are also required to write the translation process, focusing on the problems they encounter in translating the texts and the solutions they find to those problems, and they compare the differences and similarities in the translation of literary/non-literary texts. The aim is to lead students to start and finish an independent translation study and to be aware of the process under the supervision of their instructors. |
