Course Objective

The aim of the course is to familiarize students with what critical theories are and how they can apply them in texts. Students are equipped with knowledge and applications on dogmatic criticism, genetic criticism, sociological criticism, psychoanalytical criticism.

1   To have enough knowledge about criticism
2   To have knowledge about criticism types
3   To have knowledge about factual criticism
4   to enable them to learn subjective criticism (poetics, thematics,literary semiotics, semiotics)
5   to enable them to apply these theories into different texts
