Course Objective

The objective of this course is to gain translation competences.

1   To use their knowledge of main approaches in Translation Studies;
2   To categorize texts in terms of Translation Studies;
3   To use their knowledge of intercultural communication models and factors;
4   To analyze texts for translation purposes;
5   To apply translation techniques and strategies in literary translation from English to Turkish.
