Course Objective

The aim of this course is to introduce students to learning environments in museums, museum-based learning theories and to enable students to understand the importance of museums as learning environments.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Develop thinking skills that will help them to make a museum based currucula
2   Develop communication skills that will assist them and their future students in understanding their world and their roles as learner of museum
3   Learn planning and assessment procedures for effective, integrated, and functional museum plans
4   Develop skills in utilizing instruments for teaching object based learing in the elementary and secondary classroom.
