Course Objective

Teaching how to edit an effectively visual hierarchy for visual communication; how to organize the visual elements on any graphic design product; the basic principles of page lay-out; how to design creative surface lay-outs using text and image.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to develop the correct lay-out approach to different graphic design surfaces
2   To be able to organize the correct hierarchy and legibility of the texts
3   To be able to design publications containing typography, images and typography and image combinations
4   To be able to generate files in Adobe InDesign
5   To be able to generate files in Adobe InDesign

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Basic skills in the lessons are gained through computer work. Students can use their own computers in projects. Lessons such as presentation, technical explanation and critical on the project are carried out.
