Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students with a general overview of raw materials,their usage in clay and glaze and their chemical, mineralogical analysis and also new sourses of raw materials.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Know advance information in ceramic raw materials, ceramic techniques. Obtain the technical knowledge required to utilize the personal development.
2   To develop new product with advance knowledgeSahip olduğu bilgiler doğrultusunda kendi uzmanlık alanını oluşturması ve üst düzey ürünler geliştirebilmesi, geliştirdiği ürünlerle sanata ve endüstriye katkılarda bulunabilmesi,
3   to make a test in an advance way , review all tests and to make a reports , write article and give lectur,
4   .to make advanced produce with new solutions, methods, developments,
5   to share advance knowledge.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The counsellor is required to teach the student both with educational materials and follow up reports Students will prepare a presentation file filled with the experimental results and raw material data. When necessary students are to prepare a presentation file with ground excevation results, land and field research ,and evaluation. After each presentation students will gıve debate and discussions to clairıfy the necessary terminology.
