Course Objective |
The aim of this course is to teach students the related resources and the techniques of definition and application of pattern design principles in Turkish art of Illumination with use of academic discipline and examination process. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
In this course, the pieces about pattern design, related resources, collected editions and terminology of related subject will be introduced. The techniques of pattern drawing in Turkish art of illumination will be shown schematically and step by step. Unique pattern drawing stages and completed parts will be shown on a project chosen as an example. |

The project, homework presentation and attendance will be evaluated out of 100 points. |

Course Policies and Rules |
Students who come to class late are evaluated as attended the half of the class. All of the attendances are evaluated in order to percentages given above. At the end of the classes, the subject of next class is announced to students as study-research subject. The course begin with the discussion of study- research results before presentation of the subject. |
