Course Objective

To provide learners with a framework for understanding adolescent struggles and using different techniques to counsel adolescents.

1   Describe contemporary perspectives, concerns, and questions raised about adolescence.
2   Use a variety of techniques and tools to counsel adolescents.
3   Use the creative strategies counseling with adolescents
4   Use different counseling theories working with adolescents
