Course Objective

The course aims to assist in every way in the development of standards of English teaching at all levels. It is designed to give participants an opportunity to expand their knowledge of both the theory and practice of English Language Teaching. It is also designed to examine qualitative and quantitative research focusing on different perspectives.

1   . to get a sense of Teacher Education in ELT
2   to gain insight about development of curricula and teaching materials for ELT
3   to understand the nature of pre-service education of teachers of English
4   to examine current approaches to research in ELT
5   to know about teacher education policies and practices in ELT
