Course Objective

The aim of the course is to examine the origins of organizational theories and approaches and their historical development over time, thus enabling an easier and healthier connection between concepts related to the field of business management. In addition, it is to improve management knowledge and skills by providing information and examples on the basic functions of management and current issues in today's business life.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Gains the ability to evaluate the concepts and implications related to the fundamental functions of management from a managerial perspective.
2   Gains knowledge of the historical development of scientific thoughts about management and organizations.
3   Gains the ability to understand and interpret the theories and management philosophies that form the basis of organizational structures and processes encountered in modern business life.
4   Gains the ability to comprehend and design the structures and processes of organizations operating in different environments and having different technologies.
5   Gains knowledge of postmodern management philosophy and organizational structures.
