Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to familiarize students with specific sectors legislation of European collective law, its instruments and the way in which standards are established in several international sources are implemented in the majestic national systems and compete with the Turkish law.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to examine specific areas of legislation on working conditions in the European collective labour law
2   Being able to discuss the marked changes in traditional industrial relations systems
3   Being able to review new industrial relations and include relations on different levels
4   Analyze the situation of Turkish collective labour law
5   Illustrate and describe important matters of Turkish labour law
6   Explain and criticize various types of national and international collective labour system
7   Discuss the factors that can change the conditions of collective Labour rules in a system of law

11 Comparison of the conditions of strike between European labour law and Turkish labour law
