Course Objective

The main purpose of this course is to achieve a necessary understanding of the economic, social, political, and cultural problems the Republic of Turkey has faced since 1923.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Have knowdlge about the sources of history of the Republican Era
2   Have knowdlge about the problems of the Republican Era
3   Evaluate the problems of the Republican Era
4   Comprehend the conceptual framework of the problems in the Republican Era in the context of ideology and epistemology
5   Analyze the effect of process of Republican Era on the historiography
