Course Objective

This course aim to improve students' knowledge about the contemporary developmental theories and their contribution to understand preschool children's physical, cognitive, language, social and emotional development

1   To have knowledge of contemporary theories of development
2   To know the contribution of developmental theories on child development
3   Having ideas about the perspective of developmental theories on the child's physical, cognitive, language, social and emotional development.
4   To have an idea about the contribution of developmental theories on pre-school education
5   To relate developmental theories with early childhood education
