Course Objective

At the end of this course, students will have knowledge of developments in History of Turkish Education, with comprehending importance of History of Turkish Education, from Pre-Islamic Turkish States till today.

1   To write main elements of history of Ottoman Education
2   To explain main stages of history of Ottoman Education
3   To summarize historical development of institutions in which teacher were educated
4   To write historical development of Turkish Ministry of National Education
5   To recognize chief figures and institutions of history of education in the Republican Period
