Course Objective

Learning the historical development and characteristics of the Turkish and Islamic art.Recognizing the riches Works of art, primarily architectural , formed in the world of Turkish and Islamic art and evaluate these works from a broader perspective.Beside Historical knowledge also aimes to comprehend the theoretical approaches.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Gains knowledge to recognize the historical environment as a whole and evaluates from a broad perspective.
2   Understands Islam's approach on art.
3   Determines the problem related to the field and can designes solutions with alternatives projects.
4   Determines the identity of the architectural styles and buildings.
5   Gains the ability of independently conducting a study requiring expertise in the field of Islamic history and arts.
