Course Objective |
To help students in dialogic approaching to many discussions about the definition of knowledge, its areas, its sources and about how to gain these knowledge which are constitute epistemological background of Islamic philosophy and its sources. From this point, to reveal an understanding and an awareness of that there is an epistemological dimension in research which were done about Islamic philosophy, that were generally on being and specifically on what is core reality of things. To create sufficient knowledge about main principles of epistemology that examined in those writings on Reason, Nafs, Logic, and Classification of Sciences. |

The students can improve their knowledge and abilities for understanding and practicing about the issues and problems of the knowledge theory that held in Islamic philosophy. |
Assessment Criteria |
The students will be assessed based on success in their mid-term and final exams along with their performance during the classes throughout the semester. |
