Course Objective |
The aim of this course is to expose students to various schools of thoughts, theories, critical approaches and methodologies in social science and humanities disciplines which have been used in the study of translation. Within this context this course aims to familiarize students with studies in fields like cultural studies, philosophy, literary studies, anthropology, history, political science, economy just to mention a few of them. Students will be encouraged to apply the methodologies and theories studied into the study of translation. |
