Course Objective |
Multichannel seismic reflection data processing requires some specific data processing methods in a specific order and using appropriate parameters. This course purposes describing all these spesific methods in both theoretical manner and practical applications. Basics aspects are seismic data formats, principles of seismic data processing, Promax software, pre-processing, filtering methods and characteristics, 2D Fourier transform and its applications, deconvolution, CDP concept, velocity analysis, NMO correction and stack, seismic migration. |
