Course Objective |
Structural systems and construction types of historical buildings in a historical cycle; structural members and mechanical properties of conventional structures, behavior of structural members of historical buildings, loads on conventional buildings; structural behavior of masonary buidings and load effects on them; investigation of reasons of distruption on historical buildings. |

Students are expected to integrate their background with civil engineering approaches. The main aim is to bring engineering aspects to restoration for historical buildings. |
