Course Objective

Analysing the theorical background of public debt(with theorical models) and explaining concepts related to public debti analysing how public debt is used, public debt management and efficiency in public debt, discussing economic and social consequences of public debt and then analysing public debt policy and problems and solutions to these problems in public debt in Turkish economy.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Analysing the differences between public debt and private debt.
2   Discussing the economic effects and consequences of public debt.
3   Explaining the economic and social consequences of domestic and foreign public debt.
4   Discussing the problems and solutions for these problems in public debt in both developed and developing Countries in view of changes in global Economy.
5   Discussing the problems and solutions for these problems in public debt in Turkish Economy in view of changes in global Economy.
