Course Objective

To learn and analiys current conceptual debates of social, economic and political changes developed in the globalistaion process and to interpret the changes and policies applied in public administration system.

2 Describe the basic characteristics of Fordism. From Fordist management model transition to Postfordist management model
3 Basic features of post fordism; flexibility in admnistration
4 Public administration model in fordist period; the integrity in administration
5 Public administration model in postfordist period; component in the administration
6 The process of privatization and public administration
7 The process of globalization and new public management approaches. Approach to public preferences and public administration

10 Agency theory and the Independent Administrative Authorities
11 Public management approach (public management).
12 Application of total quality management in public administration, exemplifying the application of total quality management in public administration in Turkey.
13 The new public management approach(new public management).
14 Network organization and governance in public administration. As a application of Governance: "Entrepreneurial Government" model.
