Course Objective

understanding the intellectual and historical foundations of european Union, recognizing the EU's main institutions and organs, knowledge about the basic approaches of the EU founding treaties, analyze the advantageous and disadvantageous position of Türkiye its negotiation process to EU under assessment of Progress Reports and teaching terminology which are realted to EU regulation.

1   Being able to define basic principles of admistrative strategies of Europe
2   Being able to analyze the context of EU integration's institutional, legislative and administrative framework according to historial conditions
3   Being able to discuss EU on basis of structural and operational
4   Being able to determine the responsibility of administrator working in the field of EU.
5   Being able to analyze future staretegies about european union full membership process for Türkiye

1 Introduction, general information about the course, explanation of the concepts in general terms, evaluation of the importance of the course in the learning plan.
2 European integration historical process and the philosophy of basic principles.
3 European Union, member states and symbols.
4 European Union enlargement process.
5 European Union institutions.
6 Decision making procedure and methods of EU.
7 EU founding treaty and summits.
8 Lisbon Treaty as a reformist approaches.
9 European Union Common Policy
10 The historical basis and development process of relation between Türkiye and EU
11 The historical basis and development process of relation between Türkiye and EU
12 The position of Türkiye within the frame of National reports and progress report.
13 The position of Türkiye within the frame of National reports and progress report.
14 General evaluation and reminder, reviewing the degree of achievement of the learning outcomes of the course by making a situation analysis of the period.
