Course Objective

The aim of this course, Turkish family structure, childrearing attitudes, child raising in different Turkish states and the value of the child; It is aimed to inform the students about the role and duties of family culture, traditions and traditions and collective culture sensitive counseling in Anatolia.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. Explain the basic concepts related to Turkish family structure.
2   2. Can evaluate child-raising and child-related approaches in different Turkish states.
3   3. The role and duties of a community-based cultural-sensitive family counselor may develop a relevant understanding.
4   4. Syntheses the interaction between extended family and core family.
