Course Objective

To provide learners with a framework for learning the models and history of brief therapies and solution focused approach and their stages also using solution focused counseling in schools.

1   Explains the basic principles of solution-focused therapy
2   Explains the stages of solution-focused counseling approach.
3   Applies the techniques used in solution-focused counseling approach.
4   Evaluates the effectiveness of solution-focused therapy.
5   Integrate solution-focused therapy with other therapeutic approaches.
6   Develops a collaboration with clients that is appropriate to the nature of solution-focused therapy.
