Course Objective

Learning the basic features of Türkiye's population, settlement and economy; and understand the importance of knowing the properties of the population of one place in terms of sustainable development planning.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knows the concept of Human Geography of Türkiye
2   Knows the people and events contributing the development and growth in human geography in Türkiye.
3   Learn general characteristics of the economic geography of Türkiye; the basic subjects of population, agriculture, animal husbandry, forestry, industry and distribution in Türkiye.
4   Evaluate the policies of Türkiye's population, settlement and economic structure; take the responsibility to find solutions in problems.
5   Learn the main interests of the cultural geography.
