Course Objective

To make students have competence and knowledge for necessity, importance and content of the science education in early childhood education, to design activities, and use methods to promote childs scientific thinking in early ages.

2   2. Express role of teacher and parents in early childhood science education
3   3. Recognise basic science concepts in early childhood education
4   4. Explain importance of scientific process skills for children in early childhood education
5   5. Design activities related to scientific process skills in early childhood education
6   6. Recognise teaching methods and techniques related to early childhood science concepts.
7   7. Design, practise and evaluate materials and activities related to early childhood science education
