Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach the purpose, scope, content (acquisition, subject, learning / sub-learning areas, method / technique, tools and measurement and evaluation approaches) of secondary school mathematics curriculums.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to comprehend the structure and content of a mathematics curriculum.
2   To be able to comprehend the connections and transitions between mathematics curricula from primary school until the last grade of high school.
3   To be able to know the high school mathematics curriculum in practice and to develop a practical application example of its application.
4   To be able to comprehend the mutual relations between mathematics curriculum and student achievement and teacher competencies.

4 Approach, content, skills to develop, learning and sub-learning areas, methods, techniques, tools and materials used, assessment and evaluation approach of the current secondary school mathematics curriculum
5 Distribution of current secondary school mathematics curriculum according to classes, distribution of class topics according to classes, boundaries and relation with other courses. (9th grade)
6 Distribution of current secondary school mathematics curriculum according to classes, distribution of class topics according to classes, boundaries and relation with other courses. (10th grade)
7 Distribution of current secondary school mathematics curriculum according to classes, distribution of class topics according to classes, boundaries and relation with other courses. (11th grade)
8 Course overview, evaluation and midterm examination.
9 Distribution of current secondary school mathematics curriculum according to classes, distribution of class topics according to classes, boundaries and relation with other courses. (12th grade)
