Course Objective |
Introduction of the Turkish play writing pace and development, the evaluation of its content and form, to the students of Main Art Branche of Dramatic Writing (The Traditional Theater, Play Writing in Tanzimat and Meşrutiyet Era, from the Republic years till the 1940s). |

The main method in the lectures is the discussions to help the students understand the characteristics covered, after the lecturer states the context and form characteristics of a stage play text. |

The comprahension of the genre, literary movement and author of the play, characteristics of those, are the base in the exam evaluations. |

It is significant to deliver the papers complete and on time, to do sufficient research of sources and using them in ethical way and make correct use of that. |

Students are responsible for the reading of the sources about stage play texts as well as the play texts to be held in the class in advance. |
