Course Objective

It is the clinical applications of theoretical orthodontic education given in the 3rd and 4th grades, and the implementation of model analysis, cephalometric analysis, mobile and functional appliances in the clinic.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Gains the ability to determine the need for orthodontic treatment.
2   Gains knowledge about orthodontic treatment techniques.
3   Gains knowledge about cephalometric analysis.
4   Gains the skills of planning, fitting and adapting the removable appliances used in cases involving placeholder and single tooth movement.
5   Gains the skills of planning, fitting and adapting the removable appliances used in the correction of crossbite.
