Course Objective

It provides an application-based perspective on basic health problems. Presentations, readings, group discussion, class activities and analyzes by epidemiology researchers and practitioners. Researchers integrate concepts and develop recommendations for better understanding of problems. It is based on evidence and ethical and cultural considerations. The primary research areas of this course are ethical. Evidence, policies, leadership, cooperation, cultural competence and communication. Major public health issues and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, World Health Organization (WHO), local health institutions, community-based organizations, health care organizations and other data.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Will be able to follow current literature.
2   Can make problem diagnosis, concept integration and suggestion development.
3   He / she follows the health problems and recognizes the following institutions.
4   Will be able to follow the past and present process of epidemiology.
5   Comprehend current cancer epidemiology research methods
