Course Objective

By making extensive literature survey, to develop students (PhD students of molecular medicine) skills in gathering contemporary data according to their interests, analyzing, making critical discuss, reporting and presentation.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knowledgeable about the basic concepts of molecular pathology.
2   To have theoretical knowledge about required techniques (i.e. immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, polymerase chain reaction, sequencing) in relation to their interests and thesis.
3   Able to analyze data critically
4   Able to synthesize data in different ways and adapt into new situations
5   Critically evaluate research and come to a decision in their field
6   Able to access data bases and use the information effectively in their rearch field
7   Able to plan whole scientific methodology in detail
8   Able to demonstrate research findings to professional and academic environments
