Course Objective

to gain knowledge about stainless steels used in many areas of industry today and to gain theoretical and practical dexterity about welding types used in joining rusting Steels

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to know stainless steel and its types
2   To be able to make the correct technique and application of welding of stainless steel with covered electrode
3   To be able to make the correct technique and application of MiG arc welding of stainless steels
4   To be able to make the technique and application of TIG arc welding of stainless steels correctly
5   To be able to perform cleaning and quality control inspection after welding in stainless steels

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The theoretical part of this course will be covered in the classroom and the practical part in the workshop. Lecturers will give the subjects using slides, discuss them with the students as questions and answers, give them hands-on in the workshop for a better understanding of the subjects
