Course Objective

To teach the student the technological issues related to making repair, maintenance and filling welding with different welding techniques.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Filling the surface with oxy-gas welding method
2   To be able to fill the surface with electric arc welding method
3   To be able to fill the surface with gas welding methods
4   Surface filling with special welding methods such as submerged arc
5   Filling the surface with TIG welding method

1 Filling sources, their importance in the market and the rules to be considered
2 Oxy-gas welding method, its importance in the market and the gases used
3 Electric arc welding method, importance and welding machines, Electrode types
4 Tools and tools, abrasion resistant materials used, applications
5 To make repair, maintenance and filling welding with different welding techniques
6 Mixed gases and their uses, advantages and disadvantages of the method
7 Wear-resistant wire electrodes, compositions and uses, corrosion-resistant electrodes, compositions and uses
8 Midterm Exam
9 Submerged arc welding method, its importance in the market and the powders used
10 Wear resistant electrodes, applications and applications
11 Corrosion resistant electrodes, applications and applications
12 Filling with oxy-gas welding
13 Filling with oxy-gas welding
14 Filling with gas welding techniques
