Course Objective

Students who complete this course will have information about the use of technology support in the education process of individuals with intellectual disability.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Explain the characteristics and individual differences of individuals with intellectual disability. 2   Concepts related to technology; explains the principles of multimedia, binary coding, cognitive load and cognitive load. 3   Definition of assistive technologies; discuss its properties and classification. 4   Discuss the benefits and limitations of assistive technology.
